While Caedmon was originally recordings of poets and authors reading their own works, since Harper Collins took over, the website is devoted to audio books. The site shows clips of a selection from audiobooks.

Caedmon Records began in 1952, recording readings and events of famous poets and writers on vinyl. The company has since then been bought by Harper Collins and most of their repository have been recorded digitally, now available on this site.
